Brazil's Organic Food

Part of what makes travelling great is eating local cuisine and, one of the things I love about spending so much time in Brazil is its amazing food. From what I know, food in Brazil has always been about eating good, solid barbecue meat, rice and beans. Full on flavour, heavy and delicious food. I didn't know the other, more delicate side of Brazilian food. Fortunately, a great friend of ours, Bianca, is an amazing cook. She saw me struggling with learning to cook here and invited me out to an organic market to find some really great, fresh Brazilian produce so that I could start to learn some simple dishes I could make at home. It was an eye opener. Check the video below to see what happened.

The experience was an eye opener for me in many ways. Mainly, I had no idea that switching to organics also meant far better tasting food. Anyway, Bia has recently launched a new cooking channel on YouTube - Cozinha Intuitiva Da Bia - as well as a blog. Check her out! The photography was also done by another great friend, Juliana, and my better half Teka :)
